That concert series lost it's deal with DV last year and went out toward the hospital somewhere.

I think they're in financial trouble and I don't thinkobing to a dry, indoor venue is gonna help.

I saw the Dead, CSN, Sting, the Ramones & more @ Park West Back in the day thanks.

I more meant when they used to do live bands in the village area back in the early 00s

eccles center has good sound at least, but yeah.

I saw Sam Bush play a free show at Canyons maybe 4 years ago now? That setup was nice with the stage facing up the bunny slope next to the base station for the gondy. The sound was okay and you had a nicely sloped lawn.

that sounds ideal, like the back lawn of the old Park West.

Do you know what I mean SH, back in the early 2000s they did a few shows on the concrete of the village, It was kinda horrible

Before my time. I was in CA and MT in the early 2000s.

Are you talking about having the stage near where I described but facing back towards the Sundial Lodge? That would suck.

It's true about the eccles center. I saw Chrissie Hines, Eno and David Byrne, and Elvin Bishop there, and at each concert there were less than 300 people in attendance, and the place seemed only than 1/2 full. Good acoustics though...
