Assuming that might cause it to drop too slowly. They wanted it to fall very close to the coastline where it would be easier to recover.

I don't know what good that will do, U.S. ELINT fried that sucker's insides before it could count cows in Montana.

Won’t our face be red when we find out it’s full of highly contagious pangolins.

When they shoot the lasers, instead of hearing star wars sounds, you hear klezmer music.

Or maybe it's a test to see if they could drop a box of anthrax spores in cattle country?

    Best idea to date.
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

Either this or convincing some people the Chinese are using this is a way to get migrants into the U.S. should get some people stirred up nicely. Why didn't DeSantis think of this?

The Chinese sent the balloon because they didn't want Blinken to visit. Better than telling him Xi had to wash his hair.

If we had any kind of sense of humor we'd send that giant Winnie the Pooh balloon from the Macy's parade right back across the Pacific at him.

Two things about large helium balloons:

    - AI makes it possible for a balloon to navigate by adjusting its altitude to guide it
    - They are hard to shoot down with bullets b/c non-explosive helium leaks slowly through small holes at altitude

I'll keep that in mind the next time I'm at a birthday party.
