It actually has to be man made snow:
According to the World Cup Host FIS Inspection:
Kompaktschnee, Man made snow, Neige artificielle: Entire course, snow depots and preparation in coordination with race directors and according to inspection. Water work to achieve very hard base preparation.
Einfahrstrecken / abgesperrt, Warm-up courses / closed off, Pistes d’ échauffement / fermées pour public: Basic safety and course preparation at race course level. Similar snow preparation as race hill is very important.

You can’t have a modern ski race on natural snow unless that layer has went through a number of groom, melt, freeze cycles, and they would virtually always “inject” the course with water.

So do the bob sleds and skeletons just shoot down the ski slopes this year? The athletes build snow caves to live in for 20 days? Downhill speed skating should break all the prior records.

    Dumbfuck.

Can confirm, Beaver Creek not brown. Also, generally covered in snow by first of the year. Same can not be said of Fearless Leader Downhill Course (as fun as it may look to actually ski).

Also not sure if the Olympic standard for surrounding ski areas should be akin to Perfect North Slopes' general color and palette.

I did, but my speak-to-text while driving in rush hour traffic while sipping a latte and perusing TRG forums kind of let me down there while I tried to make a pun.

Also, I like the Kazakh's unis.

I wouldn't be surprised if the IOC offers to bring in a little friend named Wagner if there's any real unrest around the Olympics.

Almaty reminds me of Tehran and SLC

Vermont is no closer than Almaty in hosting the Olympics. You do realize there are more sports than just downhill skiing in the Olympics, right?
