Dang, that's the biggest fracture I've ever seen up there. Not sure if I can recall them heli=bombing either though. certainly not at this date.

And if that is a 10 foot wall, guess how massive that cornice is.

    - - Ted26 - wow, stunning dawn photo... Wall worthy fo sho!

Ullr heard this discussion and decided to bring a refresh to the Tetons. Upper elevations should be damn good in a couple days, eh? Get after it!

^^^ Yikes, that is crazy! Glad nobody caught in those wet slides.

Here's a link to a SUPER hi-res panorama I took of the range... Warning, it will crash your computer if your computer sucks, or you have shitty internet!

Haha thanks! It's a Canon Rebel T6i w/ the EF75-300 Lens. 1/500th at f.11. Stitched together in Lightroom. I think I'm gonna print a biggie for the office wall.

Nice shots, great to see you had such sweet conditions...

There's always tomorrow, and tomorrow we ride! Ski ya next time.

That Moose body looks fat too, bet she's pregnant...
Yep thanks! Couple more pics for mud season, because, why not right?

That panorama shot is amazing. I'd pay you for a biggie of that.

So cool poking around and zooming in on my haunts.

Hey local maggots - I plan on roadtripping up to Bear tooth pass for shredfest june 15-17. Anyone else interested in going? A dawn caravan through the parks to arrive at 11k above sea level by 9 am. Sick camping, partying and...skiing! yay. Hike to and lift service. Cool, funky Red Lodge has motels for the soft and bars for the hard.

    Can you dig it?

Update: there are a couple snow patches on the trail beforehand but continuous snow is slightly before the meadows. great skiing up high but the snow won't last long with this heat.. Click image for larger version.

no idea, but seems a little greedy/myopic to use it for employee housing, imho.

Why not make it a Dornan’s 2? Throw in a Chuckwagon, pizza joint, bar, wine shop, gas, fly shop, gear shop. The whole 9 yards. Hell, a bison petting station on the side would”d be nice also

Threadshift / Just got my 18-19 pass. $1399 for everyday plus 5 - 1/2 off buddy vouchers. 1/2 off a daily ticket at any Mtn. collective ski area, anytime. Free tram rides all summer.

Helps keep my head straight during these other 3 seasons.

Pretty sure my first pass back in 1990 cost $1295.

Right there with ya. Job change ended my free ride for the past six years. Counting the days till winter now. I'm guessing I'll bag another 10 days or so now that I'm paying full freight.

I'm pretty sure the last time I bought a pass it was about the same cost with the 30 percent off August rate plus access to other kick-ass mountains, sweeet
