I've had supposedly the best tamales in the world (multiple families tout this).

I fucking hate them. I'm not a cow, I don't need a corn husk wrapper, and the only thing you better be putting masa in is tortillas.

I’m not a big fan of tamales, either, and I’ve had a pretty big sampling of them while in Austin. Can’t say I like Menudo, either.

Munudo on a weekend serves a purpose.

Pulled pork is one of the better offerings from our kitchen.

How do you slay the 3rd floor with a headset on and weekend I70 traffic?

Well you got part of it right. If I ate that I'd probably slay the 3rd floor too. Not just the bathroom. The whole 3rd floor.

^^^ Right? Crushing all that slaw and beans then trying to sit patiently thru 4 or 5 more hours of your shift sounds pretty freaking challenging.
Brandine: Now Cletus, if I catch you with pig lipstick on your collar one more time you ain't gonna be allowed to sleep in the barn no more!
    Cletus: Duly noted.

Days off are typically Sun-Tues, and I skip a lot of Sundays and slay pizza instead.

FWIW, I bought a new WRX this spring, and so far the drive to A-basin over Loveland pass has been more fun than the skiing. Really looking forward to the first white knuckle snowmageddon drive, preferably sans traffic.

    Fortunately I have the interwebz/tgr.

JK, but I did bring the puppy to work today, so between calls and taking puppeh walkies, I’m avoiding food coma.

Also skipped the beans out of consideration for everyone else in the room, although I suppose I could have blamed the dog.

Sort of a pecan sandie and bbq sauce. I don’t know if it’s pre-made, but the cookies are yum, even if a little under.

Those beans look tasty to me, especially if you mix in a bit of the BBQ sauce.

I need to stop in the courthouse in Gtown and grab some grub.

I really just want some trays, but I'll say HI!

It's actually a pretty historic place, for me personally, and many many other men.

Bowls can be easily converted to shanks.

Ok, I can’t back that up. No idea about the bowls, but guessing there are some advantages to the one size fits most tray approach.

On a related note, I would pay good money to see a tray fight, which I imagine happen from time to time.

Wait! Where's the crunch berries? Did you pick them out and eat them before the pic?

They need to make an all crunch berry cereal. I’d be all over that shit!

So this spread looks better than what I brought anyway. Need to pace myself and avoid food coma since I’m solo today. Not counting this as Thanksgiving dinner because eating Thanksgiving dinner alone is just sad. Will celebrate on Sunday, my next day off with wifey. Making duck.

Saving room for pie, of course.
