    How quiet is Interbike?

Anyone at the dirt Demo? In general it doesn't sound like it will be a busy show...

Pretty quiet. Probably 60% the size of last year, which was 60% the size of the year before that.

It'll be interesting to see how small the actual convention is. As much as anything, ebikes seem to be keeping the show going.

Wondering whether moving to Reno next year will kick start things, or if that's going to be the death knell.

Reno seems like the land of 3rd rate conventions so that may be the dagger

Quiet. Less exhibitors, and definitely less attendees. Big brands are mostly absent, but that's not a huge change from last year.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. Bmx have any sort of presence? Seems to be struggling as of late. Canada lost a major bmx distributor. I blame scooters

    Pick me up something useful.

By useful I mean completely stupid, out of place, and functionally worthless. I know it's around. I don't know what it is because I'm not there to see it. But I know comedy lurks.

S&M is here, but they were pretty much the only bmx brand that I saw. Waaay more scooters than bmx bikes. And I think there might be more ebikes than regular bikes.

They reinvented the wheel! Toast, you should demo this and report back.

    Go to 2:18.

Most of us spend too much money to get bikes to NOT ride like that.

That's like some creepy middle aged white man's fantasy of a way to make young asian girls more 'bouncy'

50ish. Caucasian. Female, surprisingly enough. I'll see if I can get her digits and pass them along.
