    This Week in Canada,

Elevators cause more deaths than terrorism.

    https://beta.theglobeandmail.com/new...service=mobile

From bumps and bruises to amputations and even death, data suggests elevators in Canada are proving increasingly dangerous.

In the past six years, six people have been killed and 1,225 people have been injured, including 69 permanently, in elevator mishaps in Ontario — which accounts for close to half of Canada's elevators — according to the Technical Standards and Safety Authority, which regulates the devices in the province.

The TSSA data shows the number of incidents more than doubled between 2011 and 2016, rising at an average rate of about 14 per cent a year. Serious injuries have been increasing annually by eight per cent.

Well we gotta specify, cause a Canadian "no", sometimes means maybe, or ask me again later, or sometimes yup, getcha by.

A "hard no" is required for clerification for the time when you really mean "well maybe, I'll tink bout-tit an letchas know, but if it's ale-rite witcha by, I'd radder nat."

In other news a 1st nations women was killed by wild dogs an a reservation in Manitoba. The CBC news reported almost 30 wild dogs were feeding on her body when she was found.

    Not sure which is scarier.

    This Week in Canada,

Court to decide if man has license to GRABHER.

Lorne Grabher, the man behind the personalized GRABHER licence plate that made national and international headlines after it was deemed offensive by Nova Scotia's registrar of motor vehicles, is headed to court.

I worked on reserves in the Yukon, wild dogs really are an issue. Local RCMP would drive around with meat on the roof of the car luring dogs out of town, when they'd get 10-15 dogs following they toss the bait and shoot the dogs.

I don't like to show my tin hat in public, but I agree 100%.
Why would the dealers or cookers add the fentanyl and kill off their clients.
I think the government has made the fentanyl cheap and easily accessible to the cookers to help clean up the streets.
I use to have an office in the lower east side of Vancouver, I had to dodge street zombies daily, the government could be easily kill 10 a day for a year before it made a dent in that population.
"BC Emergency Health Services says it responded to 109 suspected overdoses around B.C. on Thursday."
"The coroners service reports 347 drug overdose fatalities occurred in the first three months of this year, putting the total on track to surpass the record 931 illicit drug deaths across B.C. last year."
That's a lot of people in a government street cleaning project.

That Main & Hastings area in Vancover was always the heroin capitol, but now instead of smuggling in a pallet of heroin at great expense/hassle/danger of getting busted the dealer can get a brick delivered REALLY cheap by courier so what was not so long ago heroin is now fentynal and as always ... you can buy tin foil anyhwere

I used to do HW calls on the downtown eastside ... scary place

Because Cehnehdehn's don't need that as a last name. It's already part of their nomenclature.
