FS: 187 PRAXIS PROTEST (STAINED GLASS TREES TOP SHEET)

Long story short, I am lusting after the veneer GPOs that galibier_numero_uno posted in gear swap the other day. I can't justify buying them unless I unload my protests. And, funny enough, my protests are galibier_numero_uno's. So, I am going to try and sell the protests in order to buy his GPOs. I really enjoyed my time on the Protests, they are absolutely incredible skis. However, I have been wanting to try a pair of GPOs for a while and believe they may be a better ski for how I ski.

Here is a link to galibier_numero_uno's detailed thread about the Protests. https://www.tetongravity.com/forums/...97#post5318197 There you can find all the mount and build info. I was in fact able to get the wardens back to a 302 BSL. The only difference between that ad and now is they have a newer pair of wardens on them. I have probably five days total on them. Pictures below, but they are still in pristine condition.

As they have almost brand new wardens on them, I think $375 with bindings is fair, $275 without. I am in the Denver/Front Range area, and would much prefer local pickup. Can discuss shipping if it comes to that.

    Colin

Round and round these go. Indeed! They've gone through two folks since I sold them, some 15 months ago. Great ski for the right person who gets to ski big dumps more than I did.

Buy 'em so I can move my GPOs to @dub2

Disclaimer: I haven't seen these skis in 15 months, so take the useage after that point into account.

What's with all of these bigger (and better) skiers scoring all the sweet deals? I want this ski but in like a 180 length.

Don't be afraid of length on protests. They ski short and are still lightning quick at 187.

Having met @tgapp, looking at his quiver and discussing his preferences (he's about 145-150 Lbs. at best guess), I'd say his estimate of what would work for him is correct.

Seems he’s about the same size as NW_Skier who skis the 187.
But they might be different abilities and by what you are saying, he may benefit from the shorter length.

Yeah, I'm 150 pounds sopping wet and a punter in the truest sense of the word possible. Saying I'm a tailgunner would be complimentary, though I guess with a longer ski, there would be a lot more backseat for me to use. Still tho. You guys and your big old powder boards make me jealous.

Lol! Yeah, you would benefit from a shorter length, esp since these bad boys like to go fast in pow.

More and more, I'm learning (and at no small expense to me), that I like skis 5-7cm shorter than most maggots.

skiing 179 wootests in the bc makes me REALLY want this for an inbounds ski... imo tgapp the 187 would not be too much, the woos are crazy pivoty and I believe the woo is just a ~10mm skinnier protest.
