The 'WTR' version of these bindings can be used with normal alpine/DIN soled boots, or no?

Two dudes who worked at freeskier opened Slope Style originally. One of them was a giant POS so we booted him out and it's been rad ever since! haha I think Gabe, the owner of freeskier, lives in Denver selling real estate now. He's still a friend of ours.

I have any brake size available for those asking, and yes the WTR version can be used with alpine soles. The new STH2 16 this year is MNC which is why I'm clearing these out!

1 pair has been spoken for so far.

The smallest brake size they make for this binding is 90mm. However, it does retract inward a bit upon engagement.

Guess I never thought to actually look it up as I’ve never had a request for it. Haha

Did they actually change the STH2 design between WTR and MNC, or just officially support using more sole types on the same design? I’ve heard both versions of the story.

Yep sliding afd as opposed to fixed. Also a new transfer switch changing the feel from “progressive” to “direct”.

Honestly it’s seem simple enough to not be a big weak point. I highly doubt many will switch it a lot.

What exactly is that sliding switch supposed to achieve? Who out there is skiing and thinks to themselves, "Man, I wish I could feel my skis...less."?

If I had to guess, I'd say it has something to do with their team park riders who want a bit more shock absorption. But then in turn, the big mtn guys can make it more direct.

3 pairs sold so far, only 3 left for grabs!
