ID:	375243Next he’ll come back to clean then coat. This client wanted a mostly raw look so he’ll get a slight tint and protectant out of penetrol. Its more popular to blacken but this will look real sharp.

That fireplace is what I originally had planned for our place, sourcing and price knocked it of contention. Such a cool look!

This was a fun great room chandelier addition to an old condo. 3 sections of 5' scaffold with limited clearance end to end made set up spicy. Plus only having one 12' long spongy 2 x 10" plank on either side of the chandelier to stand on made for a gripping situation. A good reason to charge large.

The 4 holes coming accross the ceiling are 4" hole saw cut's facilitating pulling romex between rafters. [tiesATTACH=CONFIG]375299[/ATTACH]

Luckily I didn't have to help break down the scaffold

The 4 holes coming across the ceiling are for fishing the wire between rafters. Luckily I didn't have to tear down the scaffold.

It still needs a finish, we haven't decided what to do with it yet. In the mean time since we moved, it's collecting dust and mail.

I have a DR table with mechanical drop leaves made of that stuff. I keep mineral oil on it, otherwise raw. It does patina! In my dreams one of those panels above the FP has a hidden mechanism so it opens up to reveal yer TV

Milled from the property, local, organic, free range straight grain cedar... Chofu woodstove is plumbed to it and almost fully lashed with the watertight test coming up this week... probably put some thompsons water seal on the outside of it once its stopped leaking.Click image for larger version.

Ours stopped leaking after a few days with water in it up to the top. We had a snorkel stove.

We could use a few boards of green cedar for window sills on our pout house project. We're up on Union Hill, a few miles NW of Carnation.

I built three twin beds. One extra long loft style. The other two fit under it. I don't work with wood much, so I was stoked

Shit you built with your own two hands (picture thread)

Needed a new screen door. Apparently it’s almost impossible to find a decent wooden one to go with your house that was built in 1920. $80 of hemlock and some hardware later...
