I was thinking about SIJ today, I ended up with new ZipFits last season and still trying to dial them in. Another vote for Matt at TVS.

I keep forgetting about the reservations at the village! Was going to come over next weekend, I may still make it work.

Finally made it over to Targhee for the first time today for a couple of hours. Conditions were still decent and it felt good to finally be back on skis. Just need to find my ski legs again.

It was nice to make some turns with babybear and Djongo. The village is firming up off piste but smooth and fast on the groomers.

Bummer. Sorry to hear yours was canceled as well. Last season ever with the new lift coming next year...

Maybe…probably not going to be closed as far as I can tell. It is potentially going to become “slack country” with a traverse in and out from the new Peaked Lift if/when that happens.

I’ve been watching all morning, because it’s better than work I guess. Is this thing actually going all day? Course conditions are going to shit fast and they weren’t good to begin with.

You could call it that, but you could also say the snowboarder is fucking asshole. Putting lives ahead of his decent is full douchebaggery. The comments on the site are bullshit. Anyone defending him is clueless in the ways of life. He had eyes on the guys ascending. You absolutely do not ski cut above a climbing party even if you were faster on the up. Its just f'n skiing for christ sakes.

No kidding, the only thing I'm wondering is why didn't the 2 slower guys yell at the snowboarder to wait 3 minutes so they could move to a safer spot? Honestly, the lack of comms between the two parties is bizarre. It's been a minute since I've been back to the Tetons, but have things in Jackson degraded to the point where you don't even talk to fellow skiers?

I've got 8 50% coupons. You have to go online and reserve, might be able to load onto a card you already have or else go to the ticket window to get an RFID card. PM me if you are around and need some.

I need the zipper replaced on my merino sweater. I found a few tailors in Jackson but any of them more familiar with repairing sports stuff? They all seem more for wedding dresses etc the golden thread

Sweater is quite old so my next move was to check the thrift store for a replacement

Fucking Natural selection bullshit. The entire Moran face has been closed for 2 months so those clucks can augur and get a participation trophy. Did anyone make it offa the first hit cleanly?. I couldn't watch anymore, the fail was so strong.

Yeah, the conditions are firm under foot. It's like that all over the mountain and the locs are still eating it up like hungry dogs.
All of the commentators excuse making is weak and I could pull 4 friends who could do better than most of those 'pros', in a heartbeat.
This comp needs to move on or only block out the Face for a week or two.

Re: the Sliver slide...IMO, inexcusable to cut in above an ascending party when so close and contrarily ignorant of 2nd party not contacting and clarifying while being passed.

    Thanks Swerve! Nice!
I'm sure those 1/2 vouchers will get used by mags.

Any other donations on vouchers would be appreciated if at all possible.

I'ma gonna be out every day so pm me some digis and we can connect for first laps or first safety meeting.

    Yes, yes it is.

Nice work Cy! Way to represent mag.

Amazingly getting gear fixed in JH has always been hit or miss. Someone starts the biz, gets completely overwhelmed and bails because it's a tough row to hoe. Now it's only a coupla suitmakers/tailors...$$$.

The thriftstore, Browse-n-Buy, just offa town square typically has a pretty amazing selection of midlayers. Give 'em a go. I score so much great stuff there.

Yep, they're in Teton Upholstery now. I have a bunch of gear in their shop right now, getting modified. Huge fan, those guys are great!

And thanks for putting that comic on the cover HMS. Love getting work into TAR!
