This thing rocks!! Have skied pretty much everyday of the 2019-20 ski season in it. Carries a load really well. Straps down tight and stays cinched.
6ft - 205# : L/XL fits well. Could have also gone M/L or L/XL.
If you’re smaller than I go M/L

Does this vest fit the 1.0 or 2.0 RAS system?

Dakine Poacher RAS Vest L/XL
Agreed. I’m 5’10” 198 and went L/XL and with it on snug it has room left on the tension straps. The only beef i have is the torso length. I’m a normal length torso and every size has the same length torso, long. Not a giant issue but I feel I need to pull the bottom part down after getting off the lift. It does cary and wear quite well. Don’t realize its on when skiing. Doesn’t effect balance like a pack can at all.
2.0 and 3.0.

Has anyone worn/tried on both L/XL and M/L to confirm torso length is the same? The long torso is my issue... with the waist/ hip belt where I want, the shoulders feel up to my ears. I'm only 5'7", but a solid 180. I could live with the width of the L/XL by cinching the side straps, but the length feels awkward.
edit: shitty photo added. Other short folks like this?Last edited by singlecross; 01-18-2020 at 09:18 AM.

I’ll get next in line as I have a cat trip coming up February 14 -17 and this would be tits to have over my tits.
Cheers

Damn, good info. Gonna be looking at grabbing one of these soon since getting yelled at by lifties to remove backpack(with is arguably smaller/thinner than this) is getting old. Looks like I'll be needing L/XL since I'm 6'3" 185ish.

fwiw I have a grateful dead branded 26L Poacher pack (only compatible with the 3.0 system) that I won from the Ski Journal contest here. new with tags, but I'm just not the airbag kinda guy, and don't know what to do with it. interesting trades considered!

pms sent/replied, pack only no canister or bag. and I’ll pass on the vest, I’m just not realistically going to use an airbag unit

Well, if there is no difference in length between sizes, I'm going to keep this one and give it a try. Thanks for the interest and info everybody.
