Best way to judge any city is by the quality of the strip joints. Clearly. Thank the gods we have timberidge to guide us. No need to visit Baltimore. The strippers are skanky apparently.
Now I wonder what the dons issue was. Seems right up his alley.

Sent from my iPad using TGR ForumsIt makes perfect sense...until you think about it.
I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

How 'bout them O's (pronounced "Eaus")! I lived in Balmer for a few years while going to grad school; as the northeast goes, it's pretty nice. Yeah, the old 99&99 during summer is hard to take though. Laid back place, as cities go, and you only need to get a little outside the beltway for some okay trailrunning or mountainbiking, and not too much farther than that for better trails. A short bit of class 3 whitewater just to the north, too.
And I tele-skied at Wisp (to the standard "are those cross-country skis??" reaction).

And just what part of that question was a reading comprehension fail? The statutes, according to my skimming the other article posted, did go further than I thought they would in forbidding whites to transact on real estate in black neighborhoods, but whites were always allowed to own real estate in black neighborhoods, just not move into them. Which is a huge distinction.

About those strippers...
- Old skool was downtown up/down The Block.
- Skanky? Oh hell yes. Crackskank.
Mindblowing on acid lemme tell ya, then a coupla bumps to drive out to Jax/Phoenix area.
We'd go partying then finish the action on the block. Stripper told my buddy's fiance' she was gonna get her ass kicked if she didn't get out cuz' she was prettier than all the working gals. All of the scuds were checking her out and not tipping...
We left laughing our guts out.
