NWS/NOAA Seattle office forecast discussion... basically the duty forecaster's notes from the combined latest model runs.

IMO it's one of the most valuable weather resources we have at our disposal. Never look at the published forecast without then reading it to get a grip on how confident they are with forecast and which way it is trending with each model run.

    Hardly.

    The 3.00 pm

A little high pressure Tue or Wed would be perfect for a parade.

"Dawn" patrol was worth it this morning. Hope the sun softened up the top half for those I saw on the up

Stellar snow on south faces in the Skaggit. Find a road that drives up high, wander through dry woods and a stomachful of fungus to enjoy panoramas unparalleled. Maybe the rain will open some north faces?

Total spring skiing today at Stevens. Coverage is pretty bad. Another rain event will be devastating IMO. Nice thin spots and creek running through Big Chief.

Maybe I'm not skiing tomorrow that's looking grim. Time to start looking at volcanoes?
