Jackson is firm right now. Winds and inversion took its toll. Still good chalk on north faces. BC is slightly safer but pretty wind hammered in spots.

with the current high pressure, stability woes and temperatures instead of taking a break from the coast to explore other BC mountains I took a break from the coast to come and work in Calgary for the week....

Record highs all over the west. Skied slush yesterday, never before in Jan. Time to hide and wait for a change in this crappy weather. Or pray to the snow gods.

Nice spring skiing in Colorado right now.

You could always come down and shoot some mountain biking- 65 and sunny in Denver most of the week.

Lee-- can you give any details? When were you there, where abouts did you ski, and where was good? Do you think the continued inversion and warm temps would have killed it by now?

    Thanks
