Here's what you do - best with multiple people:
get your gear, go to OHSU tram at waterfront
    Board tram with skis/boots/poles
Loudly say - "This will be Epic! The gap jump at Barbur is easy, but ya got to carry lots of speed to clear I5"

What an amazing anniversary gift AC. You two happen to mention the coincidental timing once or twice?

Bullshit, the Subie plowed thru it with ease, studs of course. I think it was more for the morans who should stay home, scare tactics. It was 1 lane over Sylvan hill and thru the onramp to the Marquam bridge. It was like the zombie apocalypse, stranded cars everywhere. Not often the drive on the West side of Portland is worse than the East. Driving by my 94 year old fathers house they plowed a 2.5 foot berm so he was stuck, took 20 minutes to dig him out, then we had a 1.5 foot berm to clear to get in our driveway. Recockulous.

The skiing was tits! so f'ing good. Heather opening was a Chinese downhill...

I waiting for my wife to finish with the computer so I can cut an edit from today.... The heather drop looked insane...about 200 people at the top of mercury. I did some recon from the Top of stadium and decided to take a lap. Got to the bottom and they had closed stadium. Took MHX to the Ho Chi Minh traverse. I happened to hit Ho Chi Minh exactly as the patroller pulled up (and opened it for me!). Untracked pillowy line that ended at the head of the heather lift line. Sofa king sick. Can't. Contain. Stoke. Dying to watch the rest of the vid. Looked for Mags but never saw any through clouds of white smokey powdah.

Faceshots on The Face under MHX. Was surprised how well the snow held up in the main bowl.
