Assuming SC doesn't say "yer gonna die," I'd probably ride it. I might sand/feather the rough edges, and attempt to fill in any gouges with epoxy, just to make myself believe it does something to slow any further damage. Who knows.

Catastrophic failure of the rear triangle is a lot less likely to kill you than catastrophic failure of the front triangle, so there's that.

Take into account how forces are acting on that swingarm

its at the pivot between lower link and swingarm of which there are 2 sides

its probably not too dangerous to ride just keep an eye on it

but you can't fix it SO you gotta replace that swingarm sooner or later

SO what does SC want for the crash replacement swing arm??

edit: actualy in the pict it looks like a lot of the damage is missing paint ??

I'd ride it but I'd make/buy some kind of lower link protection. (I've made my own for mine with a dremel and some ABS plastic. $5 materials and like 10 mins of work)

Here's how I would fix this. Tape off the bearings and brush the damaged area repeatedly with abundant amounts of rubbing alcohol to remove any dirt and oils. Let dry fully. With the bike upside down, apply somewhat thin coats of high quality super glue, allowing it to wick into any micro cracks in the carbon composite. Loctite brand superglue from Home Depot is sufficient, or you can use industrial grade thin wicking type if you have easy access to that. Apply thin coats, letting each dry 15 minutes or so, until it it builds up to a flat surface flush with the surrounding area and let it all dry for 24 hours. Sand flat with very fine grit sand paper, probably 600 grit. Clean with alcohol and apply touch up paint.

This should restore all strength to the existing carbon composite structure. I prefer super glue over epoxy because it is very strong/rigid for small repairs, it is impossible to mix incorrectly, and can wick into small cracks. Should be almost as good as new, and unnoticeable from 5 feet away. Good luck!

The same spot on my Bronson V1 looks about the same after a few small hits followed by one big one in the first summer I had it. A year and a half later, no issues at all but I did put some rubber tape there for a little protection.

If you can't replace the part, there's always the option of getting it professionally repaired. A buddy blew in the downtube on his carbon Enduro, a fairly major repair, and it cost him about $600 CAD. This would likely be less than that. It might be worth looking into, anyway.
