Got on them again today. The softer boots made life more fun. I’ll drive the tips harder and ski faster.

What do you like about the x106?

80% the power that the lp105 is but more floaty, easier going, less tiring in tight terrain

It's essentially a better version of the Cham 97 2.0.

Legend 96 (despite being in the cm of mediocracy) is a fun fucking ski but might be a bit turny for your tastes. One of the few skis over 90 I’d recommend. Excelles in variable spring snow in a variety of terrain. Rips quick to medium turns on firm.

Is this the "dynastar Billygoat" you speak of?

Common sense. So rare today in America it's almost like having a superpower.

I think there is a pair of Pro Riders for sale at the base of Alta with pivots. $550, they were on the rack out side the shop next to the quad by Goldmines daughter

Oh yeah...very, very nice. Classic Dynastar, rolls into a turn very smoothly and clean, the faster you ski it, the smoother it gets, and the pintail/rocker is noticeable but you don’t feel it all the time. You ski the shape more than the rocker profile, very connected and stable. Can’t wait to ski it in pow.

Tested it the last 3 days at Mammoth trade fair, good soft snow and chalky buff.

They took me for a ride at Mission yesterday. Ski runs like a truck, super damp at speed, just needed a 50 degree Alaskan face and a heli.

Question. What length is this new dynastar legend factory going to be?

I had a rep tell me the new factory 118 will be longer than 190?

Also, would anyone recommend the factory in a 190 to me? I ski a big dump 194, most everything else I have is 195cm above 30m radius.

I think the 190 might not be enough?

It wasn't bad - spring conditions with carvable corn and a few hard patches left over from the day before. They weren't getting a lot of use as most everyone else was trying race skis and carvers. Legend X88 was awesome as well.
