Love those shots skifishbum. My dog doesn't have the patience to do that. Tried many times! Really like the picture of the trike and presents, splitter.

Took these at the Walhalla (Valhalla) Temple above the Danube River near Regensburg, Germany yesterday.

Really nice shot, SchralphM. Great shots UCL. Love that last one. Is that someone on that 'little' peak? It's late and my eyes are tired. That's quite the drop off on the left.

Random picture of a random scene from a random drive I went on after my PT appointment this morning. That's a soccer ball on the ice. Some little kraut is pretty sauer about that, I'm sure.

Yeah, that is Enginerd on the top of that. Part of a climb we did this weekend. And yeah, there are some exposed spots...

    EDIT: And cool shot Fuzz!

I don't have a very nice camera, quality is pretty poor compared to most of what's in here, but I think I can take a decent photo and I'm itching to start sharing stuff...

Sunset this past Saturday from the Glacier View Turnout along Hwy 191 in Grand Teton National Park:

Sunset reflection on ice. Would have liked to have done a better job with this, but I was hurting too bad to do more than take a quick snap.

I have been waiting for their arrival, and the first two have arrived. I plan on shooting a ton of them any tips would be great.

    Did you see the lock.

    Is the crop ok?
    Is the shadow a problem?
Is the end of the dock a distraction?
People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.

The lock is great, it could definitely be it's own tighter subject.

I like the crop, the rule of thirds is nice to follow but I would say the end of the dock is undesirable and the shadow can be used to balance the comp.
    por ejemplo:

This appears to be morning? So I would assume the sun goes down on the opposite side of fishing house? That could eliminate the stuff on the right (docks), lead the shadow through the frame, and give you some nice reverse sunset action that I find is often easier and as beautiful to shoot. At the very least some earth shadow.

I think getting rid of the docks in the comp helps with a sense of desolation which I think fits the theme well.

Thanks man. Yeah looking the other way is a bank and a set of lights with busy traffic. Not he isolation feeling I'm after. Maybe I could flip the image?
