I know I'm not gonna want to make the slog all the way home afterwards (I shouldn't have done it last year for sure) so I booked a room at the Sheraton Framingham, the one they used to call the Tara, I guess they don't use that name anymore though. It's right off the Pike at Rte 9, 1 exit from 495, not far from 128. Easy in and out of town and away from most of the Monday AM traffic.

I plan to ditch my truck there and uber in and out. With the AAA discount it was $145 for a room with two double beds. They have a bar there if you get there early. I'll probably stash a few beers in my room for late night. Anybody who feels like doing that we could split the ubers if you want or whatever. Get your own room obviously. http://www.sheratonframingham.com

edit: Last year I tried to do the same thing last-minute and they were booked so maybe do it soon if you're into it. There's a couple hotels in Newton, the Marriott and the Crowne Plaza, that would also fit the bill if people want to be closer in, and I'm not locked into my reservation, the Sheraton just seemed like a good compromise.

@brock landers - it's been really difficult finding a 1br furnished for only 3-months even at that price. Thankfully the GF will be there to share rent costs.
@gman - I can work remote (digital publishing business), but just started doing a lot more work in NYC, so using the time out here to take trips into the city and I've got some family in Boston as well.

Got a few good leads off AirBNB but craigslist has been mostly scams. These Boston rental broker fees are not cool! Never dealt with that in San Diego.

Stoked to finally be able to make one of these!

    Thanks BD, for the invite.

GMan, Jackstraw (and anyone else interested), the 20 I got are currently spoken for, but there are still SRO Bud Deck tickets available online: http://purchase.tickets.com/buy/MLBE...LB&pid=8375600

It's the night game, 8pm, July 16, Bud Deck. No assigned seats (in fact, no seats... it's SRO), so you can mingle and move around at will. Lots of fun since it's like you're on your own private patio party hanging out.

Right on. Just confirmed that my sister and fam is in town for her once a year visit, so now I'm on the fence.

    Congrats Rontele!

Any stand out recs from you local kids on where to dine tonight? Maybe the nutella cannolis later.
We like good food-not too picky and we enjoy various price range establishments.
    Thanks!

Craigie on Main, get there early, and get the burger (they only prepare 18 a night). Otherwise I'm useless- I never go across the river.

Go to the Harvest and sit outside on the back patio... tonight is perfect weather for that. Great food and somewhat reasonable.

I'll be on the patio at Shack Shake tomorrow for lunch with Chester, lol.
