We woke up twice to branches hitting the house last night but thankfully no downed trees or damage to worry about. I hope all made it through unscathed. I’ll be interested to hear if the buff is worth a post-work skin lap later.

We appreciate the tip! Looked like that’s where the wind was pushing the snow yesterday for sure. Skins at the ready but unsure how the body will respond. Stupid me actually tried to go fast in last Friday’s beer league and took a fall for the ages. Not sure if my ribs are bruised, cracked or broken but they hurt like a mutha fucka. Will have to see how skinning feels...

Wind has blown from the west for 36 hours, lee side should find some fluffier snow in areas that got more snow to the north.
Woke up yesterday to an inch of frozen crap on the rigs and little loose snow around here. What little there was has been moving all over the place.

3` sunny and still windy bob. It's been so windy this winter we didn't lose any yard trees and only a couple of ash branches down.
Countertop template on Wednesday, then I think I should head to Maine for 2 or 3 days. #morepowderlesscrust

I find most tossed parking lot beverages are Mike's Hard tallboys, which tells you a lot about the person already.

Coooooold and delirious dawn patrol on MRG this morning. Pretty sunrise. Soft groomers. Weird slow snow off ze piste.

Weird snow indeed, the wind chuffed chalk was slow, oddly supportive but deep on the skin up, skied smooth, but needed jump turns on flats.

I’m finding a few Sip of Sunshine’s, All Days, small box wines, and the usual iced hard teas. Judging by the beers I find on the road, the economy of VT is doing well enough that people can buy high priced beers and don’t need to redeem them. I never find BK or McDonalds wrappers, but friends a mile or so up get them. So clearly, it takes less time to drink a beer than finish your fries.

As of last weekend, it was getting there, but actually not too icy.

That was about the size of it below the two steeper pitches...with the addition of breaking crust on either side. Somewhat better above 1500 feet due to a fresh half inch of snow.

Wind had had its way on almost all aspects leading to athletic turns. Sure was cold today. Snow sure is deep out there.

The Cat is back! A dollar for Atari? Wow

-8` and sunny w/ a light breeze bob. Tonights 1-3' will be most welcome to cover the chalk surface we have now.

The folks in Rangeley know what’s up.

Cat or others - is there any chance BMOM is anything other than wind scoured? Akok tells me it’s east facing but I’m having a hard time imagining how even that aspect was spared some wind affect. Had hoped to ski there Friday/Saturday but thinking a trip later in March might be in order. Any BETA is much appreciated

Skied NW of Black yesterday and the wind had its way on most aspects (we were on NE slopes) I would imagine it has been pretty wind scoured. There may be some lee zones. My thinking is once it gets cut up some with traffic woods will ski well. Only $25 on Friday's if you can do a relaxed drive by

Bottleman edit looking like a snowstorm Saturday night to Sunday. You should really try to stay over to Sunday if it happens. Mountain will be in its best condition to have a fun time at
