Dude… 1/2 gallon plastic bag, so easy. Get one with the little slidy thing if you're feeling fancy.

I'd never seen the Nalgene collapsable before. No hose to worry about either, which is nice. I think that is the winner.

Floorless tent is my preference. I've already cut the floor out of one of my winter tents, but not my solo tent.

Plastic bags - can't sleep with them after filling them, and not so hygenic 'cause you can't seal them up that easy. I used the zipper bags for a while.

    /overthinking pisser pussy.

Getting better and better. Good to see there are other great minds out there. From the webpage:

The Nalgene Canteen (or Alpinist pee bottle) features a multilayered material offering stiffness and strength for stand-up capability, yet is soft and flexible to be folded or rolled. ...... Excellent for saving space when bottle is empty, and when properly labeled, makes a perfect PEE BOTTLE for those very cold nights or tent confinement. Volume: 48oz.

Just glanced at REI's website for reviews and alot of people had leakage issues. Perhaps the same product by Platypus is a better option.

    Leakage? Pussy.

    (bummer)

    Platypus don't have a hose-less wide mouth.

They have this, and the hose is removable, which is ok, but the hose attachment nozzle looks like a piss trap to me.

A leaky water bottle is one thing but a leaky piss bottle is a whole new set of issues. Didn't realize platypus doesn't make a wide mouth version.

I guess I'll be sticking with my trusty ol' gatorade bottle (although collapsible would be pretty nice).

How about an MRS dromedary bag? http://www.cascadedesigns.com/msr/wa...y-bags/product. The only negative that the smallest size is a 2 liter.

Cask wine bladder. Double walled. Plenty of capacity. Full of wine up, piss on the down.

You use a pee bottle? You use a tent? Get a bivy with the zip on the same side as your sleeping bag, camp on snow or sand, roll over in the night and let it flow. Unless you're a girl.

My BCA Stash pack came with a bladder that has a fully open top, like a dry bag. Open up to fill, folds over and locks solid. Never leaked a drop.

No removable hose, but I'm sure a creative trip to the hardware store could fix that.

Unnecessary bump, but put me in the large ziploc bag camp...typically I toss it just outside the tent door to deal with in the morning...
