Yeah, I want some foul red slug to crawl all over my sandwich leaving a trail of slime that overpowers everything I wanted to taste. Sounds awesome, where do I sign up?

Shit, now things are getting serious. Olives and sun-dried tomatoes are great but don't really belong on sandwiches. But when it comes to roasted red peppers, I stand with Riser4.

Lots of greatest hits in this thread. My top ones in no particular order would be reuben, a great torta, eggplant parm, hot italian, pork w/ broccoli rabe. One that I whip up sometimes but people around me find disgusting: tuna, diced red bell peppers, jarred spaghetti sauce, cheddar cheese on whole wheat.

And damn straight olives belong on certain sandwiches. Sundried, well, maybe, but probably not straight.

OK, I would make an exception for olive relish in a muffaletta. Are you talking whole olives?

Haven’t you gone to Italy? Olives can be wonderful- if they are treated like vermouth. Unless they are spectacular bury them.

Roasted red peppers are better than industrial tomatoes on cold Italian sandwich, for instance.

I've been to Italy numerous times... I won't eat their olives either. Fuckin' fruit of the devil, those.

Oh, fuck. Good olives in Italy are amazing. Most of the olives here are pretty meh or salted to death.

And the guy who lived in Japan and Singapore eats tuna cheddar spaghetti sandwiches? I'm.. just... speechless

It all is a question of which sandwich. Relish, crushed, sliced. Shit, if I find a sandwich where they work in the spherical form, I'll try that too. I just love olives.

Banh mi has gotta be my overall favorite. I rarely make a BLT or order one, but some places do it well enough that I have to get it.

My favorite TGR-related sandwich is probably a club and a tallboy from General Grits.

I saw you had posted here and clicked in knowing for sure it was gonna be taco related. I was hoping for a nice mouth watering shot of some killer chicken tacos though. Next time.

Thanks Brownski. I can't load pictures on to this sight. I swear, it won't let me. It's been that way ever since I loaded up all those photos of my wife and my sister, she was totally cool about it though.
