I like Bitter American in a can, although it pales by comparison to the 'real' draught version.

Fremont's and Caldera's pales + IPAs are good too.

It's pretty cool to see the evolution of this thread from 2007, when there were only a few micros in cans, to 2014, when there are hundreds to choose from. I'm still a Dale's fan though, that hasn't changed.

My vote along with their Jai Alai being a close second.

Finally some good beers showing up.

21st Amendment Brew Free or Die IPA
    Anderson Valley Hop Ottin IPA
    21st Amendment Fire Side Chat

Those are three I can get around here. Every summer I drink a bunch of good canned beer that I pick up at a small shop in Maine.

Rolling Rock for working in the yard/garden
    PBR for shoveling snow

I'll check in from mormonland and say that Hop Rising is one of the finest beers i've had from a can. of course the $10/6pack price is outrageous, but at least we can get it in Utah.

    it it 5 o'clock yet?

I'll second Hop Rising although the 9% alcohol kicks my ass.

Props to ISBD -- not only for selling me my BRO 183s -- still use them thankyaverymuch - but for acknowledging Brooklyn's own Six Point Brewery -- the Righteous Rye, Bengali Tiger, and Sweet Action are all tops in my book.
But I cannot believe, nay I am shocked, that in 5 pages of shout-outs to PBR and Dales, not one of you has mentioned:

Sometimes an ice cold Coors original can't be beat. Other than that I have been really digging on everything by the Ska Brewing company.

Deviant Dale's, kind of like a Heady Topper but not as good.
But it's the best in the house right now.

Heady Topper is the best Beer in a can. Double IPA and 16oz @ 8%. Some say its Magic. Hard to get if you don't live near Stowe though.

Heady Topper, a good beer with great marketing.

Get over yourselves, there are dozens of IPA's that are just as good if not better.
