    Have fun, be safe.

I just braved the commute to Broomfield and it was a disaster. Then, no cars were making it up the hill to work, so I turned around, braved 36 again and am now drinking coffee at home, doing the VPN thing.

    Psyched for tomorrow.

Blast! I promised my wife two weeks ago she could absolutely 100% have this Saturday as a spa day. I wonder what it would do to our marriage to tell her she has to care for our 1 year old, instead?

Nothing at Berthoud, maybe 2-3" of heavy, wet snow in the parking lot, windy as hell, everything has turned to mank, don't bother. Loveland Pass was where it was at, probably a good 12" of light fluff with no crowds today.

Afternoon report is saying 14" @ Loveland, around 10" most other places. Not a bad storm at all. Still coming down. Looks like Bert ended up with about 7".

    Fuck Yeah

Face shots all day long today! Was originally gonna ride the chairs at Loveland resort, but my poor ass couldn't afford the ticket....seriously. So, I decided to ride the pass. Perfect! Over a foot of pow! It was awesome! Snowdays are so much better as the Teacher

    What are people doing tomorrow?

Went for a little tour behind my house up toward Mallory Cave this afternoon. Got in a couple of pretty deep shots. Beautiful up there with all the snow and clouds hanging around. I LOVE Colorado too! Tomorrow another tour up higher near the forecast 70 mph winds.

I boiled my thermometer, and sure enough, this spot, which purported to be two thousand feet higher than the locality of the hotel, turned out to be nine thousand feet LOWER. Thus the fact was clearly demonstrated that, ABOVE A CERTAIN POINT, THE HIGHER A POINT SEEMS TO BE, THE LOWER IT ACTUALLY IS. Our ascent itself was a great achievement, but this contribution to science was an inconceivably greater matter.

You might get your wish to ski the Flatirons with the precip in the forecast for the next two weeks.
