Skills with Phil skiing equivalent?
A friend and I were talking about the trend of the mountain bike YouTube'r and, how they are creating an interesting niche on social media platforms. Guys like Skills with Phil, or Seths Bike Hacks, Nate Hills, etc.
It got us thinking about the skiing equivalent. And we couldn't really come up with much. Is there such a thing? Folks who create skiing content on yourtube, instagram, etc, but are not traditional pros, or aren't know for coming up the competitive/film ranks. Ie: not Cody.
Just curious. It would be kinda interesting to see what they get up to in the winters.

The series with Andrew McLean is pretty decent for backcountry skiing. Not nearly as thorough as SwP or Seths Bike Hacks:

StompIt tutorials would be the closet equivalent I can think of, but more targeted towards newschoolers than tgr style of skiing:

Skills with Phil skiing equivalent?
I have thought about this style of YouTube video, and I think it risks blowing up the local ski spots and potentially goes contrary to what rad gnar TGR skiing is about.
Yes, I know that there are tons of other videos around that amp up the masses, but that’s just my two cents.
The only way I think it would work, is if you made the videos but didn’t reveal the exact locations on the mountain.... not really sure if that would do it.
