Yes, I’m still in the early phases of not admitting I have a significant ski, bike, and kayak problem… among others. Most are somewhat retro in an attempt to somehow reverse time to a point where I was good. The older I get, the better I was. Now I pretty much do the old folk’s boogie.

Peruvian, I’ve never been to Acadia. I think we need to make it happen.

Acadia is beautiful, especially now as most of the tourists have left and it isn't too cold yet.

Bummed I couldn't get out with JTran this week, nothing but hassles at the job all week, didn't get out until last night for a short backyard spin

Some of the quietest single track in VT today, except for the sound of constant traffic on RT100

That is a cool store isn't it. Many times I go in there to sell them stuff I spend damn near what my commission on the sale would be. lol. Ken is a good guy who knows his backyard trails really well and he runs a kickass service shop. Yeah there is so much fantastic riding in the Berks and it's a really pretty place. The new handbuilt dh trails on Greylock look worthy for sure.

It's either that one or in Althea 'thinking a lot about less and less'.

Ended up riding 2 more times: once at Perry Hill, then a final session at Cady Hill. Perry Hill the wildest blue square trails I've been on..nothing like that in Utah. Cady Hill is just fun, easy times.

It was surreal. The highlight of the event was the two little kids sitting next to me singing every song and quoting the Movie. I asked how they knew it and they said,”it’s on all the time at home. Our family watches it together. It’s the best”

If you don't know 'bout VTYC, ya better ask somebody.

Great program for kids racing put on by some great people at some kick-a$$ venues.

Also, bye bye leaves. See you on the ground in the morning.

Question: In which direction does the Norcross Trail at Ascutney ride better? East --> West, or West --> East?

I'm heading up to ascutney tomorrow. We will have 2 cars, and intend to park one car at the State park (east end of the Norcross), and park the other at the ski area base (west end). We are going to begin our ride at one car, and end the ride at the other. I'd like to ride the Norcross in the "best" direction, since we'll probably only have the legs to do it once. Thanks in advance

That Wojcik is nice and my size… I bet it would make a great Carriage Road bike. Must resist.

Rides great in both directions! I would probably ride it east>west if I had to choose, that way you can rally downhill all the way from the top of the Donkey to the Outdoor Center. Make sure you ride that little extra to the top of Donkey for the views and the old time granite quarry.
