186cm is the longest length that the Liberty V92 comes in. No taper at the tip so it’s all effective edge length. A little rocker at the tip and camber the rest of the way. They are smooooth and damp and can rail arcs but can still break free when asked or needed. Not as powerful or locked in as the Rossi E98 which is a good thing sometimes. V92 are nice, especially in the afternoon when legs get tired, cause they’re so easy. STP was blowing them out last spring at $199 so I didn’t expect much of them, but they surprised me. Nice ski.

Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?
So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....
Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

Are you sure you didn't steal your own Rossi's? Maybe check the garage to be sure.

BUMP for Muted!
I haven't followed your posting history...but, HOW IN THE FUCK do you forget what skis you own????It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.
I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

Ah, OK. Probably won't buy these.
Honestly, I've thought of this with GS skis. I have to be missing out not using the proper tool for the job, right? I'd love to demo a set up for a day but I don't think I need to buy a pair unless I find some for dirt cheap.

This thread makes me want to buy a pair of ridiculous stiff 15M slalom skis. Any of you guys have a recommendation? I have plenty of fun skis, and when snow is that bad I'm more likely to stay home, but on bulletproof groomer days something like that could be a blast.

FIFY
I have GS skis out the ying yang and just bought those 193 GS'ers from CM over in gear swap...
Anytime you wanna see the appeal of a dedicated groomer ski, I'm yer huckleberry. C'mon up.
And for what it's worth, I agree with a point earlier: At the advanced expert level, you can ski any ski anywhere, you just know what works well and what is less ideal.
A strong skier with consistent, solid technique can ski an LPR all mountain, every day if that appeals. 97% of skiers are not remotely interested in working that hard.
Contrarily, the ability to ski on a board that noticeably comes alive at the point you normally might reel it in, is pretty awesome. The stability and control you typically have at 35 mph only begins at 45.
I say it's like standing in a phone booth, the world whizzing by. Fast skis take you there.
And what else can you do on only your two feet that involves the acceleration and speed that skiing does? Not a lot.
Ah, the Love Boat.
Man, back in the day...the first time I tried it, my sober friend and I went and casually sat poolside with beer. He was the pool mgr. and lived above the waterworks bldng.
Shortly, his former math teacher came over and they started talking trigonometry.
My head exploded trying to follow them and I spazzed out on my buddy later. He just laughed at me.
High school and drugs in the 80's outside of DC. After living all over Florida in the 70's.
Doubt I'll soon forget what THAT was like.
That is a hilariously simple quote. Everyone should have this internal debate.
And if not, will you sell them to SVS?
Didn't take long for you to sniff those out.

Once you try them on a hard on a hardpack day, you’ll never want to ski anything else on hardpack. Like driving a Ferrari versus a family sedan (all mountain ski). You can get great deals on new prior year stock. That said if you have weak technique they’ll be downright dangerous to you and others ☹️

I will say that super g’ing around the bird on the Aurelian ducroz 192’s is a life changing experience.
