I hope they can get the 1000hp to stop melting.

You'll be hard pressed to find a better drivers car, for the money, than a C5 ZO6. If budget allows then C6 ZO6.

Ahem... Scuderia shields are metal and sit in a little indention in the 1/4 panel. Cars with no shields are hard to sell.

Unless you get hand painted shields.

If we are talking bang for buck then Im passing up the C8 and going with the GT500 for the same money. 760hp...

    Sure.

That orange one with the carbon wheels looks awesome.

760hp is nuts. So many forms of redneckery will ensue at Cars and Coffee. And multiple sets of carbon wheels...

A 5.0 Mustang is still on my bucket list, a corvette is not.

When I had a 993, every douche bag in a Vette wanted to race.

That was an Enzo Ferrari quote. You go to Italy and try saying that. The Pope will punch you.

You both deserve to be stuck on a cruise with a Dead tribute band.

eta: if you're need to make a correlation between Engine Builders and something, it would be Chassis builders. Better handling machines that deliver power to the ground (drivetrain) defeat engine builders - old school or new 99.999 percent of the time.

The team that is developing both aspects at a high level are the ones winning. I don't care if you're at the regional go cart track.

In today's racing environment, Aerodynamic development is mostly about using force as an aid in the delivery of (engine) power to the ground and cooling.

Drag coefficient's are less of a concern and more of an attribute. Properly using air mass for lift, cooling, downforce, steering or regeneration.

Even if Enzo said it - It's still stupid as it applies in the now.

Reeaaaaaly don’t care who said it first. It’s dumb.

You are dumber for regurgitating it.

so think about how much faster the car with good aerodynamics AND a hot engine can go ?

also a car that can run at 200MPH+ needs to stay on the ground and not overheat which are both a part of aerodynamics

The New Corvette probably means MUCH better prices on used Corvettes... Unless, of course, if the new Corvette turns out to be a total piece of shit lemon...

Well, that's the definition of doubling down. Trump fan?

Yes, he said it. Of course, Colin Chapman proved him wrong, but he made some awesome engines. If you go to the Enzo museum near Modena, there is a hall of engines. Yup, just engines.

There's too many Boomers with enough money to keep the market floating. That car was every Boomers wet dream before they had hair on their balls.

Well, then, you should visit the museum in Maranello and set the record straight for those knucklehead Italians. Get back to us about how that works out.
