well, i tried the real world...

i gave it a shot. i really did. i left JH after a 3 year run, got an office job, worked my ass off, got a promotion, made some money, had a girlfriend who was playing the same stupid game. i did all the things you're supposed to do in real life. BUT no matter what i do, i cannot get jackson and skiing out of my mind. i hate the city life, i hate pretending that this is what i want to do with my life. i hate missing out on the epic days. i hate that i dont have any adventure in my life anymore.

tomorrow im telling the boss that im finished, im loading up the car, and heading back to jackson. it was a good run in the real world, but i know enough to know that it aint for me

see you in tram line everyone

Once you find a place, make sure there's room on the floor for the wife and I. Cause I may follow your tracks.

Jackson Hole 'ruined my life' as well. Was going to simply take the winter semester off and ski at the 'Hole for the season.
Then come back to California and finish up school.

That was over 20 years ago.
Never did go back to school.

    Well done!
Remember most people who make enough to ski as much as we want to don't have the time.

If city life is the real world then I'll be more than happy to live the rest of my life in a fantasy mountain town.

    Congrats on the move MS!

    I'm so Jell...as I sit in this cell..who most call a cube /
working all day for just enough cash for a roof, skis and food/
I want to bounce so bad but my family and friends are one of a kind/
So I live life 12% of time, because for 330 days I'm out of my mind/
I'm dreaming constantly of white beaches with no ocean/
but i'm stuck with fist pumping juice heads and fake tits covered in tanning lotion/
I miss those flakes but luckly memories never melt/
I'll be rewarded one day, but for now this is what i was delt/

    enjoy bud.. you are lucky

Life is a gift. It is not something you take for granted and spend wasting away in a cubicle .
Why would anyone think that is the route to happiness over skiing every day in the Winter?!
Some say it's their only option, but reality is they just don't have the balls to do what you're doing Spicy.

    Congratulations.

From my very own cell, I dream about snow all year long, waiting for the next dump no matter how far away it may be. I envy you! Good luck to you in your adventures!

Way to get after it. Today, I put the sell on my boss to let me work remotely from Utah or Montana starting next year.

I wish I were in your shoes going back now. Good luck.
