Yeah there are some place on Airbnb. I'm tempted to stay up there for a night or two just to reduce the driving

I stayed there a few years back with a few other mags. Make sure you have a high clearance vehicle as it’s down in a hole that doesn’t get plowed. Stuck vehicles galore.

Also as of a few years ago there was a neighbor down there that was one of those jaded local paranoid tweaker types. Came and screamed at us when one of the vehicles got stuck in the access road, met 2funky at the door of his house with a shotgun in hand when 2funky went to make sure we weren’t parked in his zone etc. so be aware of that as well.

Lol, true story. Pistol grip sawed off job. He seemed bummed out I wasn’t freaked out by his weaponry scare tactic.

Heh, no surprise (tho picturing said weapon dude being disappoint cracks me up)... That particular neighborhood has had to deal with more than their fair share of what is short term rental shit show and all that it brings.

Pretty sure it was the “hey, cool gun” with a slight laugh that did it.
Oh i have no doubt. Even last year you could feel the tension from the, “ locals “ as one neighbor called the owner on us for excessive vehicles on the street. Funny thing is their house was just a vacation house to escape the city. I truly don’t blame them as the dick bags one house up left their garbage fucking every where in which we cleaned it up.

Dang. I’m on Vancouver island - no knowledge of the area, and would need a lift from the Seattle ferry drop-off area. If anyone finds a place for a group to stay and is willing to have a Canuck join the group I’d love to join, but unfortunately can’t lead the charge myself.

Pretty amazing how this weird corner of the internet has brought so many people together.

I got you at the ferry. Have a room for crashing before getting up to the pass if needed depending on timing

Yeah man. it was downright impressive last year, how many mags showed up for the BBI after a major shutdown of the pass for snow. It opened and by 8 am a shitton of mags were ready to rip. Like a swiss watch, peeps had their shit dialed, locked and loaded.

And the venue alone, is worth the trip.

Figure it's probably time I made it to this fine event. Putting this on the calendar. I'll be looking for some couch/floor space if possible.

I mean, I've got some floor space if need be. Kind of reserving it for fellow knuckle-draggers an/or emergency...

Hoping it won't be necessary, but if anyone has driveway space for a truck camper, lemme know. Just in case I can't get lucky with lot 3 on Friday night...

How many camping spaces are available in Lot 3?
Can I leave the Skibummobile in the same spot for the three nights?

Looking likely that I can finally sample BBI joy this year.Click image for larger version.

It'll be at capacity unless conditions are keeping people away. The only question is whether or not you're getting there when someone else is leaving. Wednesday or Thursday raises those odds. I can't arrive until Friday night or early sat morning.

I need a meeting, but the schedule conflict is too much. that's the week we rent our own montucky ski area just for shortbus types (i.e.nerds snowboarding in skiboots)
