    Garmont Argon?

    Anyone skied those yet? They just popped on tramdock for $350 and I just sat on my thumb trying to find more info on the boot. Ended up not pulling the trigger. Should I start crying now?

    Argon:Radium::Typhoon:Skookum

    I think they are basically the Radium sans dynafit and with a DIN Compatible sole. (maybe someone can confirm that) In which case you can check out all the radium reviews, and watch TD for them to come back later today.

    and with a DIN Compatible sole -false
    It was all a whirlwind; freeze and flash.
    Within a week we had grabbed our skis and hit the road.

    (nothing... a little powder, a little blood.)

    That 2nd statement greatly reduced my interest. Thanks for the info! I'd buy them if I could afford 3 pairs of boots, but at this point it's a resounding no...

    They are a polyurithane version of the Radium with no Dynafit compatibility. Apparently, they are slightly stiffer and heavier. They have the same lugged AT sole as the Radium.
