Praxis Lhasa Pows?
Keith and I picked up a years old discussion today regarding him building the lhasa pow and maybe some other bros. We're figuring out what it would take. I told him he could have free reign over the construction because our manufacturing processes were so different. He can use the tops I still have or print his own. Metal tips and tails would be replaced with a full edge wrap. Anybody think they'd want some Praxis Lhasas? We wanted to get a feel for interest before going further.

Would there be a choice of flex/width aka fat/stiff?

I think I'm more of a Kusala type guy, but glad to see this.

I think this is a very bad idea actually. Yes, the camber profile and sidecut are amazeballs. But, hey, so were a lot of other old skis. I've moved on.
... to skiing my minty carbon lhasas.

An indication of how these might be priced would be helpful. The post Brexit vote pound is worth next to fuck all. On the other hand, my 186s are double the age of my eldest child and on their third mount. Might there be a 191 fat?

If they get the full customization options, I'm likely in for a lightweight set so my current ones can be dedicated to resort duty.

I'm in. I have always wanted to know what that shape would feel like with Keith's layup and construction. If he throws it into the lineup w/ all the customization options, this has got to be a success. That shape is so versatile and I'm betting can be fine-tuned in several different directions.
Recommendations for the top-sheet - some kind of PMGear / Praxis hybrid with veneer and carbon. I'm imagining something like the GPO graphic with veneer where all the purple is just carbon. Or one of splat's top sheets, inverting the text and graphics to be carbon while the 'background' is veneer

Meh. The Lhasa was a really unique ski when it came out, but the shape is a little dated at this point and without the carbon layup it doesn't have the other trait that makes it really exceptional. Sorry.

Which Lhasa are you referring to? There are five Lhasa shapes, each one distinctly different.

How about a praxis 192? They could build them heavy and stiff like the OGs
But Ellen kicks ass - if she had a beard it would be much more haggard. -Jer
