360 deg views off the summit were amazing. Our second trip and can't say enough good things about it. Hope to be back next year. Cheers and have a great spring!
In all seriousness, don't tell anyone about your trip. You got lucky with the conditions. But glad you had fun, but keep it to yourself.

This deep in the back country is no time to get complacent. A snow stability test was definitely called for. After much pole whacking we determined it safe.

Fantastic day at meadows. Just happened to hit ab mag as the rope dropped. Skied bell to bell and was able to find fresh tracks all day. Even got a glimpse of the summit. Let's hope cascade and the upper canyon open soon.

Snowing in govy this morning and blue up high. Decent snow with minimal icing but wind was something else. Click image for larger version.

    That photo is fucking amazing.

Bachelor/Bend mags - My soggy Seattle ass will be down there in April and June and be wet, wild, and ready to do long slogs on volcanos from Shasta on up N to the river (I'll hit Adams in June from Issaquah ), so PM me if you're looking for partners! Have AIARE 1, AST2, BFD, BSL284, BAC0.1%, gear, etc.

No refereeze and big winds at the Doo made for some variable conditions. Over baked mank on solar aspects and firm bulletproof on shaded windexposed aspects early on ... eventually warmed up enough for fun skiing on the northeast stuff but got sloppy pretty quickly and lotsa work on the old knees!
So ... not a true corn cycle. Oh well, we’ll be going into April with close to 100” at least!
