WTB (Rent): Seattle - Long term rental (SFH, fenced yard)
Weird place for this but want to exhaust all my options.
Moving to Seattle for work in healthcare. Need place
Ideally for June 1.
Always figured it would be a SFH, but the right duplex, mother in law, anything with a fenced yard for a well behaved 60 lb border collie mix might work
Me: Mid 30s, professional in health, will be busy, otherwise clean and quiet. Only guests I reckon would be someone of opposite gender.
Figured I’d see if any of you real estate moguls out there want stable rent for a good long while.
One truck, three bikes, a few pairs of skis, and some random hockey gear and what not, otherwise coming with a 1br/1ba furniture.
Acceptable neighborhoods: MT Baker, Judkins, leschi, Madrona, Queen Anne, Ballard, cap hill, wash park.
Fremont, wallingford (maybe), u district (maybe). Working near first hill but have free parking at work.
Have another mid 30s professional friend lined up if needed for something with more bedrooms so would consider up to 1600 a month for a solo spot or 3200 for something for a couple of people.

Do I detect a lot of anger flowing around this place? Kind of like a pubescent volatility, some angst, a lot of I'm-sixteen-and-angry-at-my-father syndrome?
fuck that noise.
gmen.

I'm a fellow seattle healthcare worker w/ similar life.
It's freakin expensive. You're buying power might be a lot better post-covid (sadly for many), but prior $1600 won't get you far now-a-days. Your definitely better off w/ a roomie.
Consider S end near light rail, might be more bang. Beacon Hill, Columbia City. More bars and what not nowadays.

Hah! You guys are still laboring under the delusion that there are real people posting here. In reality it's all bots and various Rontele aliases and neither of those groups is gonna be buying any real estate anytime soon.
Brandine: Now Cletus, if I catch you with pig lipstick on your collar one more time you ain't gonna be allowed to sleep in the barn no more!
Cletus: Duly noted.

Good luck man, I was lookin at the same price range for single room and it's not looking so hot. Finding a place to buy hasn't been much better.

Didn't realize I was entering some tough guy club by adding a comment to a forum. Removed my info, have a nice day.
