Not only are there a few local mags who know Teton Pass and GTNP well, but I expect a few visiting mags are pretty well versed in the area too.

Most of last years' best photos in the JH thread were taken in those areas by UpallNight. He knows where to goes.

And I'm sure the westslope cartel led by HomemadeSalsa, would be great to tour with, if they're down for it.

This old fuck from Trenchtown is targetting late January, like the week of Jan 27 to Feb 3.
I'll sort out the transport, lifts and crash space between now and then.

Talking early Feb? Should be deep by then. I may or may not be available, trying not to work too much, finally enjoy the fruits of all my labor with new knee. But rage on, Teton mags, while we can.

Subscribed. Taking a sabbatical this winter. If I can find a place to crash I'm in. Housing is not cheap there.
I can represent the new England cartel. If anyone wants to drive out I can take a turn at the helm.
I spent lots of my summer in the area. So much fun. Good times. Ran into homemade salsa. Silliness at the knotty pine.
iKonic but want to venture beyond.

^^^^^Well, hell yeah, odds are good we can find you a place to crash. Hosts will likely insist on ya being vaxxed and a proper guest but after that, doors open right up.

Hey J— if plan A(lpental) with Norseman doesn’t work out then perhaps I’m your huckleberry. I’m Ikonic too.

I should have a free room or two at the start/end of your trip, and a ride up to the pass if you're staying up there again. Don't mind driving to the airport either, or I'm not far from the train to the airport.

Alright, the roster is shaping up nicely. Extra stoke for the EC represent. Stoked to ski with SJ again, not enough laps at Alpy18. Lotsa laughs tho!

Hopefully we'll all get some of this:

Really psyched for more turns this time around. The Big One scares me, but I know I’m gonna feel very safe.

We’re feeling the turn in NE right now.

Safety is primary and I know from skiing witcha, you got nothing to worry about. You will shred this place.
Turning a bit here too, close to freezing overnight now.

Abe always brings the stoke and generously offers up. Supah solid!

Looks like rates at the Hostel have more or less tripled since I was last there.

If I get a room, which part of town is best?

And if I can finish the #dreamshack, which was massively helped along by Norseman this weekend, there will be crash space out in the sticks a little closer to Alpental than Seattle. Nightlife here is all domestic.

That is correct, I think it was around $65 a night last winter.

Ski220 chime in here please. He spent about 6 weeks there last season...

I spent a week there last winter. Closer to 90 with tax. They charge per person so you have ONE PERSON.

One thing I was wondering about was lift tickets. I think I'll need 7 (do figure on touring a couple of days with my accommodation hosts). Is there a potential for a group buy? Feel free to PM me if you have an extra super-secret counterfeit pass chip I could implant in my arm to make the ticket scanner thingies the lifties use ding "paid" everytime they scan you. Thanks mags. Looking very forward is,
    GfT.

I will look into a group rate for passes, stand by.

Generally there's not too many ways to get around the ticket purchase. I certainly know a few ways but that could endanger your freedoms if caught. And they can be real d-bags if they think they can bust some one. Just ask Passholer. They fucked him over for a minor dispute.

All but the 2 highest chairs have rfid gates so it's a gauntlet that used to only take a nug or two to get past.

Any locs with a full pass and therefore some vouchers, we'd be stoked if you can donate some to the cause, hook a mag up with a half pricer. Yer karma will be great.
