Add mentions nothing about permitting. I assume there is something that comes along with it that allows them to do this?

Not this specific one, but I think it’d be pretty sweet to TGR group buy some ski business, and we all turn it into a world class business.

I would quit my job in a heartbeat and move wherever to run something cool with ya’ll.

Last winter really put the hurt on any ski related business in that area. I wonder how Silverton Mountain is doing after the worst winter in a very long time and their lawsuit.

The best snowcat operation is one that your friend owns, so please, somebody on here step up and buy it.

Biz is only worth what someone is willing to write a check for...

Put some summer mtb lifts in voila!

Are USFS permits long term or better perpetual?

This is from their blog, according to something found on snowbrains.com, posted 7/20/2018:

"Want to ride untracked Colorado powder all day while making money doing it? Now’s your chance! Silverton Powdercats is for sale!

Turnkey backcountry snowcat skiing and snowboarding operation for sale on Molas Pass near Silverton, Colorado. SPC is a 22 year established business in a destination location that draws in skiers and riders from all over the world. Includes 2 snowcats, work vehicle, base area tent, all operating equipment, and a 1st-page ranking website.

All yours for $159,000. Contact Jon for more info at 970-749-6140"

I wonder if they'd have time to work with the buyer to make it a smooth transition.

Summer hours might not be accurate? Maybe they're all out partying for Labor Day.

Found this on one of their pages: "Operating in the San Juan National Forest under special use permit from the USDA"
