Dunno if anyone's gotten a chance to weigh the 195 S7s yet, but if you get a chance, any info would be appreciated . I know the 188s are on here, but I'd be interested to see how much weight the extra 7cm and a titanium sheet adds to the weight.

I've got last year's 186 BGs in the garage with binders off and threw them on a kitchen scale out of curiosity, and mine are way heavier than that. One was 2460 grams and the other 2480, or each about 5 lbs 7 oz.

While I was out there I put a few other rigs on the scale as well. Unfortunately all these were mounted making the info less useful, but maybe someone out there will find this helpful

My daughter's 2009/2010 157cm G3 Viva skis weigh 1430g each. G3 had spec'd these skis at 3200g per pair (in this length) so they were quite a bit off. The 2010/11 models are spec'd at 3000g but listed for the 166cm and no weight is published for the 157.

I'm quite surprised at how inaccurate some listed weights are.

The weights you got for the 09/10 186cm BG sound just like we were getting. I believe the average we got was ~2450 grams/ski.

The weight of the pair listed above was a pair of Tacoma-made proto BGs, so thinner base material & edges + bamboo sidewalls. Production pairs went to thicker bases & edges, UHMW sidewalls, and a thicker binding platform, which all added a good bit of weight.

This is tentatively what I have for our 10/11 skis - haven't entered all the data yet, but this represents a good portion of it so far.

    181cm Jeronimo - 2050 grams/ski
    191cm Caylor - 2571 grams/ski
    181cm Caylor - 2432 grams/ski
    181cm Blue Steele - 1827 grams/ski
    181cm Wrenegade - 2264 grams/ski
    176cm Vicik - 2028 grams/ski
    186cm Billy Goat - 2370 grams/ski
Seriously, this can’t turn into yet another ON3P thread....
