New Business Concept. Handgun Rental Shop?

Need a little heat to get through a tight situation? We got you covered. Rent a Glock by the hour/day/week. What could possibly go wrong? I mean now that states are allowing people to exercise their gawd given rites everwher amirite!?! Seriously though, if states in Murika are no longer requiring any permits or licenses to open carry, why the fuck not rent guns?

Same as renting a car, or a chainsaw, or a wood chipper..

    Better buy the insurance.
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

Rent those too. I suggest windowless white vans, which are big enough for holding the wood chipper, chainsaw, and any other necessary items.

Perhaps near the checkout aisle of your store, you could stock last minute impulse items that some may find necessary, like disposable gloves, body suits, and plastic tarps. And Huey Lewis & the News albums.

One of my gun ranges won’t rent you a gun to shoot at their range if you come solo. You have to either bring your own gun or have somebody shooting with you to rent.

Maybe sell life insurance with rental and have a rider with the rental shop as an additional beneficiary…

There used to be an indoor shooting range in south San Francisco where you could rent guns. There was more than one instance when clean up was needed

I'm not a gun guy, but what AK said is true for the indoor range in the next town south (that a friend occasionally goes to). No rental gun without bringing one of you own. Could be a statewide thing.

Rent-a-gun and legalize opioids available in dispensaries under the same roof, what could go wrong, right?

One of my first calls with the FD was a gun range suicide. In front of a boy scout troop if I remember right.

    You're late to the game.

    FYI
The rentals are free from the gun manufacturer. They use them as demo's for 24 months and send them back. If you like you might buy it thing.

The have free rental coupons a lot and you can rent a $2,500 wilson combat for $25.

Fwiw, the OP is not proposing rentals at a gun range. That's obviously a thing.
