MRG was good today and weather gorgeous....if one avoided the sticky (sunnyside was slow going early)
...and off the mountain the surroundings had a decidedly post-winter appearance.

^^ and dang harv: you were one of the first folks i watched ski from lot as i rushed to boot up (f*ck sh*t pre-skiing on my part!)

Oof! B-net is better than being tagged to be on the Salt Crew in the coming days. If you do get drafted… buy two pair of oil pumper rubber gloves and bust out the rubber fisherman bibs. Salt/Calcium Chloride/Urea ruins shit. Good luck.

I’d come over and volunteer for race crew for a season pass next year but I don’t think they run that program anymore!

he was up there for an hour and a half just tearing apart a cavity in the top of the yellow birch.

the sunbowl was bear for sure. Is it too late for nekkid pics to save it all?

And dam do I miss narrow gauge. Shoveling fencing after storms was the worst when I was in school. Now I miss it.

I'm swinging up to the Stowe area to grab a bike from Hitchhikers. Bringing my dogs and looking for a spot. Hyde Away and Featherbed pop up. Any thoughts from the locals?

Sun Mountain with a breakfast sammy from the Bromley Market?

Oh and any ECRC'ers out near Saranac Lake? I've got a purchase over there that I'm looking for a pick up and muling a little further east. Thanks!

No salt scrubbing for this kid.

Cars are parked on the access road today, that never happens on a Friday!

Lift-assisted ski off the top of VT today thanks to a half-day at work.

Had a tough time keeping it out of the cabbage.

But they view was worth the hike.

Go and get it while you can, not going to last much longer.

I used to be Stowe skier but haven't skied there in 6-7 years - is gondy side closed yet? Is spring skinning still allowed on that side?

Wouldn't mind an after work lap at some point now that there's decent daylight.

Perry merrill is the route after 4 pm. It should be skinnable for another 2-3 weeks max.

I texted people I actually know, but PM me if anyone wants to do a west side Prezi day Thursday or Friday. I could also drive around to the east side.
Or weekend or Monday although I might already have a group those days.

I skied gulf of slides yesterday, was a beautiful day. 68 degrees at 330 when I drove home. Snow cover seemed to be 6’ lower then average up high. Quite a few bare spots on the trail. I’m guessing it no longer goes after today’s downpours. It hasn’t been below freezing since wednesday. Bring hiking boots unless next week brings some snow.
