My e010 flashed up a couple previous rides before ultimate death. I was hoping it might be something else. I cleaned all the plug ins at the motor and display and put contact enhancer on them along with the battery just in case. In the end it was the tourque sensor but the codes don't seem that definitive so who body knows eh
Been riding mine in a mixed bag of cold snow over rocks and roots , frozen dirt or wet ground with occasional surface mud. Knock on wood it keeps going. Just replaced another chain. 4th chain in 6k km. Still using my 2nd and third cassette with my 2nd chainring

the strange thing is that EP8 always thru a code if you moved the bike even slightly while it was powering up and I was told this was normal

but then it just got worse and worse until it wouldn't complete a power on reset at all

So I leave it for a month, no more codes, now you can power up while moving the bike and not get any codes

    very strange

For real mountain biking torque sensing wins all day IMO. I have a bbs02 and an ultra. The bbs02 rocks on the street but even though its attached to a FS mtb it's not so mountain bikeable anymore. Motorbikeable perhaps.
Torque sensing = more like a bike that helps
Cadence = more like a motorbike.

In my experience those massive nm specs are overkill to what I need on a mountain bike.
To be transparent I'm from VMG bikes. Just to clear this up a little the motor options are the M600 or the M510, which is the new version of the M500. All of these motors are torques sensing

I've ridden single trail with both M600 and the M500 with the 13A firmware. The M500 is better in most situations, the M600 is good on firetrails on level 5, but level 3 is the most you would normally use on single trail, unless you know the track extremely well.

M510 will be arriving shortly, and based on what I've been told, it should be very good.

    Ok...
Well if you have any specific questions let me know.

We can ship to the US via Fedex. We are direct sales only at the moment. There has been some discussion for US distribution, but still a way off.
