Not as sexy as a P car, but she will be loaded up on Friday for the drive to her new home in CA. I know, I went to the dark side, but I needed the towing capacity of the 420 hp motor

    She’s a beaut Clark!

A cayenne is on my shortlist at the moment but think I will follow my heart to the defender. I’m just giving up the kids’ college fund to cover future repairs.

You are going to have a blast. Great car to drive cross country. Very comfortable. I did it (in a turbo S) and was able to drive 1100 miles in one day, no problem

Absolutely blessed. When I have time I'll dig up some gopro footage I took a year ago up there. The roads are just so damned good. It's worth a Google to check out Georgia Tail of the Dragon and the Suches/Blood Mountain/Ravencliff Falls loop (over 700 turns and tons of elevation change)

Nice L2S! Love the navy. 420 horses is nothing to turn your nose up at!

I thought they did a very nice job with that refresh, one that was kind of long overdue. I get it though, if it ain't broke don't fix it: ~300hp, manual transmission, power to the rear axles... the design was firmly stuck in the early aughts though.

Could be worse, Dodge is making a killing using two cars in the Challenger and Charger that haven't changed in over a decade and are basically using the same formula as they did in the 70s: shitty handling boxy coupe with overpowered engine. Profit.

In my city, if a crime is committed it's in a Dodge. If a drag race is happening at 2:30am on quiet residential side streets, it involves a Dodge. High speed police chase that ends in a fiery mess? Dodge. Who's slangin dope at the gas station? Go check that Dodge. Doing 95 in the passing lane and you see something coming up on your right doing 120 as you try and move over? That Dodge driver will be the one flipping you off as he hammers down weaving across all 6 lanes.

    I'm kinda over Dodges.

I would definitely consider a Cayenne if I was in the market for a cute ute.

Not even trying to compare to the Europeans but picked up this Infiniti Q60 Red-sport AWD last Oct (waiting for the LT2 Z51 C8 come down a bit) and has a v6 twin turbo that packs 400 hp…. The rumor is the new Z will have the same motor for their top of the line and is supposed to have 440 hp and will weigh less then the Infiniti…. That little Z with that hp will def pack a punch…. I would bet the price to performance will be one hell of a value…

I highly recommend this zone to anyone with a car or bike (motor or not) that wants to enjoy some seriously great tarmac with scenery, views and more twisties you can shake a stick at. The car spotting is off the charts too.

Macan is the cute Ute. The cayenne just looks a little … soft.

The new Z has 400 hp, 350 ft lbs and a wide torque band, 0-60 under 4 seconds, yet it’s pretty damn affordable. And Doesn’t have the ugliness of the new Supra.

Nice that the manual 6 is available too.

Thought I’d seen that one before, car spotting at the last member guest I attended.

    I see you fam.

I think it was somewhere around the 1998 Detroit International Auto Show when Audi rolled out every single model in pearlessence (Lexus did it a year or two earlier but in classic Lexus 2-tone over silver trim) and I was like damn, that’s hot.

Apparently still is according to that number from Maranello.

Dude that car is hot, IMO it definitely holds it's own with the Euros but you're the one driving it. Are you saying it isn't as good?
