Can we rename this thread "snow in the pnw aka crystal mountain complaint thread"? Or maybe "whiney seats on chair 6"

No complaints for me as the outskirts of the grand dame of northwest skiing delivered some delicious light and stellar turns.

^^^Interesting! From a distance it looked pretty boney and maybe consolidated over there. Well played.

nice pics everyone. Need some BC tour guidance for sure
Do I detect a lot of anger flowing around this place? Kind of like a pubescent volatility, some angst, a lot of I'm-sixteen-and-angry-at-my-father syndrome?

    fuck that noise.

Fkna! I'll give you a shout next time in the zone. Which might be more often than usual. The new normal of puget sound traffic allows me to ski crystal midweek without a 3 hour drive home.

East Peak was amazing last week, really excited to explore more of it this season.

Inbounds was surprisingly well setup Friday - we were skiing Hamburger, Double OOs, Powder Bowl, Snorting Elk and a few groomer inbetween and it was all solid. I'm sure today w/ Northway open was a blast.

Did a little uphill at Summit West today and although the downhill was rough, was still a beautiful day to get outside. Plenty of people had the same idea, the lots and hill areas were chockful of sledders, dogs, tourists, and skinners.

Quick little jaunt for some mountain views today. Lot of wind affect snow as expected, but some fluffy turns down lower!

Any reports from Baker today? Curious if it was mayhem with no reservations and day tickets on sale. We chickened out on driving up this morning.

Me, too. It seems like with zero Canadians it shouldn't be that crazy.

Was just another typical weekend day. Not too busy, but Baker only gets slammed if there is good snow and it needs a good refresh.

That's good. Let's hope that folks take it a little less "typical" with their carpooling, parking lot chilling, and joint-passing. Worried the bros will set us up for an outbreak after what I saw opening day.
