Clearly the answer is A, since B won’t be able to take off from the treadmill.

Can we call one mask "red" and one mask "gray"?

Call them whatever you want as long as you realize with all that blowing nothing is getting accomplished.

Even if I make a wish when I blow out the candle?
(The red-gray thing would only be understood by a refugee from Epicski--Flexon Phil and a few others around here. It was the epicski equivalent of jets on treadmills. Something to argue about for 100's of pages with no resolution.)

Went there and saw this in the reviews:

I've actually been wearing it on casual Friday's at the office since we are having to wear face coverings now and it's surprisingly comfortable even in the heat here currently.
Who wears a full hood to the fucking office?!
    focus.

Blow out a candle? THAT'S the gold standard of research we're going on?

Sorry my bro but here in the land of the socialists, our public health agencies have deemed masks or face-coverings (like a neck gaiter) as acceptable for transmission mitigation in public areas. Think I'll go with them, rather than doing my own research. If they change the rules, I'll change with them.

Or you can just wear the least covering you think you can get away with and not worry about whether it is actually keeping you or anyone else safer.
?? I'll assume you're not trying to be a dick here.

The most effective thing is to limit extended contact with others, not so much as what's covering everyone's face. Skiing seems pretty safe in this regard, other than getting stuck on a gondola or being indoors with strangers of course.

I found this to be the best framework for evaluating mask effectiveness. Please post clips of your results!!

Limiting contact with others. Gee, I hadn't thought of that.
Look, there is no research comparing the effectiveness of all the hundreds if not thousands of face coverings available. There's the Duke study and the Mann study. Public health authorities have told us to wear face coverings but not which ones because they don't know, other than N95's are the best but we can't have them.. So if you want to know which of the available options that you may already own work the best you can get a rough idea by doing your own testing. If you care. That's all I have to say on the subject. Some people just like to argue.

Again, if my public health experts come out and say "wear something so you can't blow out a candle from x centimeters" then I'll do it. Some crotchety old man on the internet who likes to argue? No thanks.

I bought a few of the OR masks that they talked about on blister. Super comfortable and replaceable filters.

If they aren’t blowing smoke it’s the same protection for the wearer as an n95 for everything but liquid blood.

Is wearing an effective mask similar to wear a good helmet?
Seems like it might be; 'member all the fun of adjusting to noggin blankets? And look where we've ended up.

Have you worn one during exercise? How well can you breath? How does it deal with sweat? Thanks.

Yes. It’s hotter than a surgical or buff for sure. It seems like it’s breathing ok - afterwards my face was sweaty but the mask wasn’t wet.

The filter is removable so I guess you could adjust... if you’re wearing it in a purely “protect others” mode, pull the filter for more breathability. If you’re in a situation where you want more protection (like lifts...) use the filter.

I’m definitely planning to use them this season unless they show some really bad issues with condensation icing or any of that.

Also nice that the ear loops can adjust top and bottom separately. So you can snug the chin without crushing your ears. And nice that the surface is antimicrobial. Nose metal is good too.

Not shilling, just endorsing because they seem really good.

Well then, guess I'm wearing the old surgical greenie when I'm in the lift lines. The government really needs to get on the same page here. Walking in to doctors' offices and government buildings they have signs outside depicting neck gaiters as suitable face coverings.
