2) disenfranchising voters through gerrymandering, selective restricting (limited polling places, adding burden) or actions rising to what is in essence a "poll tax" to influence the outcome - is unconscionable

virtually all of the Rs "controls" are aimed at disenfranchising people who they don't believe will earn their vote - on record as stating as such, in less guarded moments

I would just a reasonable, measured adult conversation with politicians about what is and what is not a threat. If it's russians hacking, then give me a paper ballot and i'll show up.

Some people would not take a spouse back after cheating `10 tens times, some wouldn't take them back after one time. In my book they are all cheaters,plain and simple. By allowing degrees of shitty people to "rule" us, some, not all believe that because Trump and his ilk are Emperor sleazeballs, that the Clintons and Feinsteing aren't too bad. For the record Feinstein ran unopposed last time. Therefore, we, being all of us are essentially given choices of a shit sandwich or a really shitty sandwich.

Ok, so just to put it back on you a bit. Oregon has 100% mail in voting. It works great and AFAIK there is very little fraudulence. Applying your logic, that in person voting with more stringent ID requirements is not racist then you must think our mail in voting approach is racist, or at least fraudulent. Do you think mail in voting by troops is fraudulent? This is interesting because I think what you're getting at is that because of the virus we cannot have mail in voting and therefore no elections until this passes.

I would say yes, we should be concerned about foreign interference. It's a lot more than FB ads by the way....read up on it some more would be my suggestion, then come up with an opinion on it. The dude barely won the election...so yeah, I think it could have had enough of an influence to sway the election.

Back to mail in voting and this crisis we're in, I think it's really the only fair option we have and it works really well here, so I would recommend that before you shit on it, learn about it a little bit and formulate an opinion. It's not as disastrous as you think.

Honestly, follow the Oregon example and I think it would work fine. You register to vote, you are sent a ballot in the language with which you speak, you fill out ballot and then either mail it in or drop it off at a collection station. It's fucking basic. You don't send out one ballot in 20 different languages. Anyhow, that is a good article on the downsides of these voting approaches.
