Incipient suncups. Not good in February. Heard today that Sacramento has never before had a completely dry February, with no rain in the forecast.

God hates this wretched state and its people. I pray for locusts and massive earthquakes every night to finally end this place

Yes. Been skiing those a lot this winter. I used them in spring and thought they were worthy of corn. Now I'm enjoying them on hardback and groomer days. Put 65K plus on them the past two days at Mammoth.

Love that gully, even when it's half-burned out.

How's the coverage been holding up with all the sun and warm temps?

I've been out this month recovering from a concussion, I thought for sure that would mean epic dumpage...what gives?

Looking for a ski partner (or two) for the weekend. Must be prepared for a long drive east of Reno (4-5 hrs), and some real steep skiing + cramponing. I believe conditions will be good based on last weekend's reconnaissance. Its been more like winter in NV, and less like Tahoe's summer.

Shoot me a message if interested!

How are the solar aspects at Squaw (Tower 16) and Alpine (Sherwood Face) holding up. We will be in Carson City Friday night and trying to decide between Kirkwood and Squalpine for Saturday.

I skied Alpine last Sat and Squaw last sunday. Both tower 16 and Sherwood are skiing well, but rocks are starting to poke through. Easily avoided but I wouldn't be surprised if it was worse this weekend.

Kirkwood is supposed to get an inch this weekend. That'll freshen things up a bit.
