Hahahahaha no worries, I’m a worse date for sure. I had to live up to the new username though. Fuck this high pressure.

Its not my fault, i didn’t put the boat up as the weather forecast changed from rain to just clouds and warm this weekend. I was sorta hoping that by leaving it out it would prompt a ton of snow...

Trying to ride Beacon tomorrow, maybe that'll do it? Hard to know about these things--thin styrofoam snow above Lower Basin rolled just fine on Sunday. Did you move here with a snowblower TAFKALVS? That could be a problem.

I did but I promptly sold. No snow tires on the cars either. Should I start selling off powder skis?

Saturday at Schweitzer had good slope conditions for a WROD... a good first day back on skis.

Unfortunately I spent a good portion of Saturday afternoon and all of Sunday fighting a miserable stomach bug so I missed further WROD exploration this weekend.

Might head up to Kootenay Pass next weekend if things are looking decent that direction.

I was at Kootenay Pass a week ago, conditions were pretty decent. Coverage is good enough to ski treed high elevation areas where accumulation is deeper. I'm sure things have changed but north facing aspects were pretty wind stripped but south facing treed aspects had 4-6 of fluffy stuff on top of a protective crust

Community day was not bad at all, longest lift line was ~2 min. Lots of Jong’s on piste but pretty munch everything was untouched in trees.

The fog never lifted so the ridgeline was untouched — I like visibility so I stayed on the lower chairs.

Skier from SoCal who might be up in Seattle for the holidays. Given that its pretty dry, where would be the best area to try and ski with the most coverage?

You have good timing as snow is finally falling. Dip into the PNW thread as they will have a handle on snow but crystal was the only ski hill open but this weekend Stevens and Baker should open.

Fly into seattle and then get a cabin for a few days close to whichever resort has the best snow and terrain. Not that picky because beggars can't be choosers.

Not sure about coverage at Crystal but over on that side seems like Mission is the best bet.

Misson was clear and cold today, snow was not too bad for early season. Limited terrain as they are sitting maybe a 15in base so packed runs are it unless you feel lucky...and wear armor for knees and elbows! Crowds were ok, a lot of people were there trying to avoid the sat/sun crowd

Mt Spokane opener was fun. It’ll need at lot more snow but it was great to get out and slide around.
