If was the OP, I'd eat fried seafood at Fisherman's Catch in Wells, walk the Marginal Way at sunrise in Oqunquit and chill at Nubble Light in York at sunset.

How's the surf right now? Can't tell as the NE thread does with his banishment.

I sure did and hell of a lot of it. So, yes, I do. Sea scallops, Ipswich clams and haddock are delicious battery and deep fried. And when I travel back to one of the few places that does know how to do it right, I certainly enjoy some.

I've been out here in the west for 20 years now. Food is damn good and the produce is awesome. But most things they try to fry out here fall flat. I never knew that deep fat frying is an art form.

While your at it, stop at Congdons donuts and enjoy a butter crunch. Another thing Maine got right.
