Can i practice tricks on grass-skis???

I like freestyle skiing a lot and want to practice tricks in the summer in preparation for the main skiing season. I have been looking at grass-skis to buy and practice on, but am not sure if they will break on my first jump, or whether they are too hard to balance on. If not does anyone else know an alternative?

I demoed the TECH TALK JONG! pro model this spring and their performance was unparalleled which is good because I ski in a wedge most of the time - bendtheski, 2011

Holy shit, what a blast from the past. I worked a whole summer in the early 80's to try to buy some grass skis. By the time I could afford them it was late fall and I spent the cash on skis. There was actually a us Pro grass skiing tour in the early 80's. It was GS and the dudes could rip. Crazy to watch.

If that video taught me anything, its that waterless skiing requires a rad sweater. So maybe start there.

When climate change takes out most low elevation skiing, those Euros will be way ahead of us in World Cup. Imagine, the downhill will be a tag team race. Snow skis from up top down to the grass line where the grass skiers will head for the finish line down below.
In drove this drunken madman and stopped on a dime! Unfortunately the dime was in Mr. Rococo's pocket!

Everyone knows you can't race slalom on grass skis. Now SG on grass skis would be fantastic!

As for jumping, definitely Go Pro that shit, with medical attention nearby...

I cant believe youre even asking that question, everyone practices on grass skis in the dry season, some peoole like to keep it a secret though, so you dont become as good as them come winter time,
Gaypro it though just so we can see youre making great progress,
