I'm sure myself and Smearette will be interested in something like that. We're trying to decide on whether to get the Meadows pass or not.
Of course, if our fucking Reno condo doesn't sell I think we'll be picking up some Rose passes again

Yeah, I would be down. Typically when I head norte, I crash for the weekend and come home Sunday night. Not sure what sort of accomodations you guys have. I am down for day trips too. I can't say what the work situation will be by that point (dependant on if I get rotated, caseload, and all other work related bullshit).
When the snow starts to fly, we shall discuss further."You look like you just got schnitzled..."

I'd be down.
I'll probably have a Meadows pass anyway for the weekdays where I ski in the morning and work late (plus they're stupid cheap).

I've been having the suck-up the drive and ski Bachelor again this year vs suck-up my pride and head back to Meadows this year debate in my head pretty much daily for the last 2-weeks. This sounds like a good alternative. Would this be a weekend only car pool or would anyone be heading up Thur/Fri?

I am usually on constant standby for powder harvesting during the week, as I am self employed. The GF wouldn't be happy, but I can get away if we smell snow on the eastern horizon.

How long typically does it take to get to crystal from portland? I've had a meadows pass the past few years and it does get old.
holy shit those crystal passes are expensive.

Mostly because if it dumps while I'm up there, I may decide I need to stay an extra day or two. I've put a lot of effort into organizing my life to be able to almost whatever the fuck I want at any time. When it comes to my beloved crystal, flexibility is key for this guy.
Sooo, I made my reply as non-committal as possible!
Oh yeah, FUCK MEADOWS! And I live 40 min away door to door.
I'd rather have 2 good crystal pow days than a whole season at Riley's piece o'crap hill.

My trips averaged about 3 hours one way last winter. Left around 6 or so on Friday nights and the traffic was nothing. Did the squirrely-early Saturday morning thing too with no traffic. Sunday night down the hill and into puyallup sucked, but once past that it was easy sailing.

I work whatever hours I want each week (my job rocks).
So I'm in for pretty much any days when there's fresh.

Oh yeah, I guess I should clarify that I do not have a car. But I could pitch in for gas.

I'll be leaving from Chehalis Friday night or Olympia Saturday morning just about every weekend this winter. I have room in my rig for others. I'm still looking for lodging options up there besides my car and/or tent. Does anyone know how much Crystal charges to camp in their parking lot? I'm guessing with all the RV hookups they have its not cheap. I haven't seen a whole lot of other camping options on the road up from Enumclaw. Any cheap motels in Enumclaw that people would reccomend?
